Trees
We always have a range of containerised trees available up to large heavy standards of 20ft in crates and weighing around 1 tonne.
We also can dissect, transport and rebuild large trees if required. Skilled and careful staff must undertake this operation but the effects are dramatic. All the trees we use for this purpose are ones that are due for felling. Forestry Commission thinning and clear fell often supply good enough subjects or we will advertise for trees that are being removed due to disease or danger.
'Fierce Creatures'
This large landscape project required large semi mature trees to give a feeling of permanence.
'Restoration' Whilst dissected it was easy to get this large tree through the narrow entrance into this court yard. The tree itself came from an orchard where the trees were being grubbed out as they had outgrown their productivity.
'Abbey National Advert' On the left you can see the tree before it was taken to the studio and on the right the finished article with additional roots, and artificial leaves.
