Runner Beans grown up hazel bean sticks and Strawberry plants under period fruit netting were planted in the walled garden at Thame Park after restoration from a wilderness, the espalier fruit trees had to be pruned and retrained and the beds prepared.

'Widows'

Using a few old vegetable plants, mature herbs, long flowering grasses and allied props this neglected vegetable plot was simple and effective.

'Cromwell & Fairfax'
In the garden of ‘Cromwell's' house we created a vegetable garden and as part of this, ‘Clamps', the method used for storing root vegetables in the 17th century

'Alice in Wonderland'
To create this stylised kitchen garden on J Stage at Shepperton Studios we used a full range of vegetables, fruit trees and herbs all pot grown at our nursery. (Note real and dressed Topiary.)
