Pavilion Maze: The Selfish Giant

The maze in the gardens of Brighton Pavilion was the brainchild of Shella Parkin. Based on the novel 'The Selfish Giant' by Oscar Wild, we created seasonal rooms within the maze for children and adults to explore with the selfish giants garden right at the centre.

Thor: The Dark World

The brief from the set designer Charles Wood was that, although we were in another world, we should keep the greenery aspect of all of the set real. We used autumn colours and plenty of blossom to create a warm and almost romantic feel.

The World's End

With a story based on a pub crawl, an important part of our involvement was to supply hanging baskets and planters for the different pubs, giving them each a different identity. We also planted up a roundabout, planted a small vegetable plot, and created an apocalypse in a suburban garden!
